This was our second visit to Raffles and we were once again not disappointed. From arrival to departure we were looked after superbly by the whole team. The only slight disappointment was the villa which was not as elevated as last time we visited. We had booked a panoramic pool villa and assumed these were all on the top level of the resort but we were one level down. Although we still had a fantastic panoramic view we did not have the privacy we had last visit when we were on the top level. We had a butler this visit (Leon) who checked on us regularly and organised requests effectively and efficiently. We were hoping to have dinner on the beach for my birthday but it was fully booked, however there was a cancellation on the day and Leon contacted us and arranged everything efficiently. We also were gifted a sundowner by the resort for my birthday. I though it would just be a cocktail on the beach, but was instead a trip to Anse Lazio for sunset by private car with champagne and canapes. My wife said she felt like royalty! A special mention to Suman (sorry if I've spelled that incorectly) who looked after us on the beach and also the driver who took us there (didn't get his name I'm afraid!). Special mention must also go to Angelina at breakfast who remembered our villa number after the first day, greeted us with a smile every morning and got us one of the best tables with a view out over the sea to Curieuse. There were also many buggy drivers who were friendly, chatty and happy to talk and seem genuinely interested in our stay. We never had to wait longer than three or four minutes for a buggy which is a bonus when standing out in the sun!

Beautiful resort and atmosphere. Appreciated earlier check in, staff was ready to assist anytime. A place you want to come back again and again ♥️. Villa was amazing and comfortable, the oceanview was just breathtaking. High class experience from every point of view.

We had a really great holiday with Raffles. Our room is clean and no weird smell at all. Beach is nice with great quality of sand. We have seen quite some fishes close by. Food: many different choices for breakfast and dinner but the salad area is quite narrow. Spa: all the services are pricy but the products they use and their skill and all the facilities are worth it. Location: we did hiking and snorkeling and we enjoyed it. The only thing that bothered us is the buggy service. They either never came or came very late after you requested it. They are normally not all very friendly.

So disappointed- hotel shabby and clearly not been upgraded since opening Rooms lovely but not 5 star . breakfast appalling - tables left dirty - have to ask for cutlery etc and napkins .food cleared away before the end of service and not refreshed . empty bowls where food would be . restaurants ok - food quality variable - not good on buffet nights … didn’t go to sushi as heard such bad reports . friends we met had even left mid dinner . the first day of Eid suckling pig was served - highly inappropriate and insulting to those celebrating. staff friendly and try to be helpful but customer service training needed if wishing to portray a 5 star feel. pools missing tiles / not particularly clean - look unkempt - sunbeds old and rusty . again pool / beach staff extremely friendly and helpful - so it’s sad they working with poor quality tired / worn surroundings. definitely time for a total refurbishment and overhaul would not return as NOT Raffles quality but credit to lovely friendly staff - especially the buggy guys and pool/ beach guys !!!

From the moment you land in Seychelles, you are greeted with a smile. It’s a country where everyone you come in contact with is genuinely interested in you and wants to make sure that you’re having a pleasant experience. Raffles is a beautiful Resort, with excellent Staff and Facilities. Highly recommend the Boat trips to explore the neighbouring Islands for Snorkelling. Weather permitting, it’s not to be missed! The beach is outstanding with the whitest softest sand you’ll ever see. Service is impeccable and everyone is out to help and cater to your every whim! I’ll be back. Thank you for making my Solo Trip so comfortable and welcoming! AM
