Whatever you do, make sure that you have the correct dates BEFORE you hit the book button. I accidentally had the wrong dates when I hit the book button. I noticed a few hours later and tried to request a date change to the same Wed - Fri the following week. Since it was a non-refundable room, the hotel management denied changing it (even though I offered to pay an extra fee) AND denied a refund. Karma is great thing. I lost close to $600. Do not book a room at this hotel.

We booked this on the Accor app, we prefer the Adagio to stay in where we can as the rooms are spacious and they normally have a laundry, so we can cook for ourselves and as we are on a tour of Europe we can wash our clothes. The room we had had a lounge room and separate bedroom. Both with TVs. The only downside with the TV, was they had certain channels in the list but they weren't subscribed to. We do like to watch a news channel in English where we can. One design fault in the kitchen was the alarm that is very sensitive. We cooked one night and the littlest amount of steam set it off. It made us not want to use the kitchen. Also a toaster in the kitchen would be good. We were on the first floor and due to the heat, we had to leave a window open, there is a bit of street noise especially from where people congregate at the smoking area. Ariel at check-in was excellent, we had one small issue with the bath and no plug, maintenance fixed this in ten minutes. A good stay, the hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the station, but the walk is pretty easy.

Well, the apartment is good, a bit bigger than a normal hotel room, but by no means ample. There are some irritating failures of design: Most pulling knobs are difficult to pull, being a smooth cylinder or similar. Only the fridge door has a proper pulling shape, so they were aware of the usefulness of the design, but chose not to do it on the rest. Also, the microwave has a grill, but also a notice on the door that says never to use the grill because it will start the fire alarm ??? Easier to buy non-grill microwaves, I'd say. They have something about fire alarms, because they make you sign a document where you declare to know about them and specify the fines for setting one accidentally. It discourages you from cooking at all :-) Also the bed can be raised and you get a sofa . The bed surface is one plank, it's comfortable, but the two "arms" of the sofa are long and hard, easy to hit in the night if you rise from the bed. But these are generally minor inconveniences. The apartment looks clean in general, but there was a big exception. We noticed during the first night a strong old-sweat smell when in the bed. Investigation proved it to come from the mattress protector, which was also a bit brown when we took the sheet out. Clearly it hadn't been washed. I don't know what is the general policy in hotels about mattress protectors, but this one was obviously dirty, and they didn't wash it. We didn't take the issue to the management, we were tired, we just took the mattress protector away and slept without problems afterwards. So we don't know which would have been the reaction to this. but that shouldn't happen anyway.

Generalnie pobyt w hotelu uważam za udany. Pokoje czyste, szybkie zameldowanie, dobra lokalizacja obiektu...niesmak natomiast pozostał gdy w recepcji okazało się, że muszę uiścić dodatkowo podatek miejski. Niby niewiele, ale podczas rezerwacji było wyraźnie napisane "wliczone wszystkie podatki". Podczas dokonywania rezerwacji powinno być wyraźnie zaznaczone, że jednak nie wszystkie podatki są wliczone.

Dzień dobry, dziękujemy za podzielenie się swoją opinią na temat pobytu w naszym apartamencie. Cieszymy się, że doceniliście czystość pokoi, szybkie zameldowanie oraz dobrą lokalizację obiektu. Co do kwestii podatku miejskiego, przepraszamy za wszelkie nieporozumienia. Chcielibyśmy wyjaśnić, że podatek ten jest naliczany przez miasto i nie jest wliczony w cenę rezerwacji. W przyszłości postaramy się lepiej informować naszych gości o ewentualnych dodatkowych opłatach. Zauważyliśmy również, że jesteście członkiem programu lojalnościowego ALL - Accor Live Limitless. Dziękujemy za lojalność i mamy nadzieję, że będziemy mogli sprostać Waszym oczekiwaniom podczas kolejnych pobytów. Serdecznie zapraszamy do ponownego odwiedzenia naszego apartamentu w przyszłości. My wife and I stayed in this aparthotel at the end of July 2023. It was well situated within the city and was less than 15 minutes walk into the city centre and the Cathedral. The staff were friendly and had left a drink in my room as it was my birthday, but for some reason the staff member thought I was 6 years old! Odd seeing as I booked with a credit card. I had written to the hotel prior to let them know it was my birthday as well. The apartment was definitely big enough for both of us, with a small hob, microwave and fridge, though we didn’t cook anything, it was nice to have the extra room to relax. There is underground parking at the apartments, which is €20 a day. For the convenience it was worth paying even if it is a little expensive. It rained most of the time we were there, but there is still plenty to do. The Cathedral is free, which is always good and the Hohenzollern Brücke which is full of locks is great to walk over the Rhein. Cologne is a lovely city for a couple of days
