Perfectly reasonable hotel. Great location. Underground car park right outside and we had a 50% discount from the hotel. Lovely and clean, comfortable bed, not too noisy like some we’ve stayed in. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice. Staff needed to wake up a bit though and replenish the food as at one point there was no toast, coffee, bacon, beans or juice. We only had to wait for bacon when we came down for breakfast. Would stay again.

Great size rooms , great breakfast. But only able to buy bottled beer after 23.00 ! Was looking forward to a draft beer ! Plus, I had to check out early due to the noise from the builders...something I was not informed about ! Met a woman in the lift who had the same problem, also checking out early !

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever experienced. There was what looked like blood on the floor and the bathroom door. The bathroom had hairs and dust everywhere, with brown dirt between the units. The TV controller was absolutely caked in dirt. It looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned for months!

Only three pillows for a couple. We like two each. As I'm disabled and find steps difficult. I was dissapointed to see a high step to go in and out of the shower. We asked for a quiet toom but we could hear music being played outside. We had a meal in the restaurant- the fish was disgusting. A small fish like the ones you buy in supermarkets - 4 in a pack! One fish and cold peas with about 10chips. I did tell the waitress we were not happy - she didn't seem interested. The service was slow we waited.a long time for our meals- there were six of us. We stayed the night in small rooms. Very dissapointed. The guest check in was nice. Very helpful and the hotel was in a nice area. Near the xmas markets and fair.

A short trip to see Arsenal Women play Bristol City Away. Hotel check-in quick, friendly and efficient. Room clean, basic and very well priced. Discount on overnight parking much appreciated. Very close to Clifton Suspension Bridge, SS Great Britain and Ashton Gate for the game. Breakfast on day of departure excellent. A great first experience of Bristol. I would definitely recommend if you're on a budget.
