Ibis Avallon, France, was a great choice for my one-night stopover after a long drive. The hotel's highway location and friendly staff made our road trip easy. Accommodation was typical Ibis. Despite electrical outlet issues (very few sockets in the room) and high humidity, our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel's amenities, especially Tesla charging stations, were good. The other charging stations were limited to one charging port. The hotel's breakfast buffet was great, and the staff kept it clean. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and available. A good price at €87 for two people/ night. Electric vehicle charging options were another issue. Overall, the Ibis Avallon, France is a great stopover hotel. The hotel has good amenities, friendly staff, adequate accommodations, and good food at a higher price.

Terrible experience. We had booked a room for 2 adults, 2 children (one infant) and a dog and after a long journey, what did we find? A note on the door saying that the hotel was closed for lack of staff. We understand that this is possible but they did not send us on any message at all and we had to find another hotel straight away. This is terrible customer service and we most definitely will not come back.

We are used to quite a high degree of care and efficiency in the many Ibis hotels we have stayed at so far, but in the Avallon Ibis the wonderful personnel took it to a new high .. help with keeping our food cool, a good cart available for carting our wine boxes to our room, everyting neat and clean, good breakfasts and we had dinner twice, as we thought the chef was turning out well cooked lovely meals. As usual we could also enjoy some very good local wines.... Thank you to Margaux, Jenny, and at least 2 other ladies who made our a stay a happy and easy one and a special thabk you for the chef !

Probably one of the most difficult hotels to find. The address, title and location are all unhelpful. I dont have a satnav perhaps if I did it would not take so long. Having arrived ( three requests from the public later) it is amost pleasant hotel with good food and clean rooms.

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, between fields of cows and sheep. It’s a calm and pleasant hotel with friendly staff. It’s a great place to bring your dog since there are fields all around. There’s nothing to see or do within walking distance.
