Overnight stop on coach tour to Switzerland. Lower floor room as requested but strong smell of sewage on corridor outside room but fortunately smell did not permeate into room. Comfortable beds and adequate breakfast.

A lovely hotel and one of the best IBIS we have stayed at. Clean and friendly staff. I specifically booked this hotel as it had a CourtePaille restaurant next door. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a fire the previous week. We therefore had to drive some distance to find a restaurant. The last thing we wanted having driven all day from Nice.

After moving from a hotel we had pre-booked and found disappointing, we came across the Ibis, St Dizier late in the day. Booked in and were given a basic but clean and well-equipped bedroom and bathroom. Had a welcome meal in the Court-Paille restaurant, charolais beef and grilled chicken, with half a litre of wine. All very good. We would not hesitate to stay at this Ibis again , bearing in mind that there seem to be very few other hotels in this part of France.

No surprise, this is just in line with the brand. Good sleep quality, quiet, clean, good beds. Restaurant is the chain "courtepaille" - exceeded expectations for that kind of hotel. Welcome is friendly, nothing to say.
