Overall, one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at in Xining so far. I particularly liked the amenities, especially the pool and gym. There is a power rack for heavy lifts if you need it. It's very clean and in a great location in the city. I think the english speaking service is somewhat lacking, but if you know some basic mandarin, you can get by.

A hotel that matches the level of Sofitel Brand, the staff were all friendly enough and all Accor member benifits are honored, rooms are spacious and clean. The club was closed and they offered alternative in the Lobby Lounge, the experience was awesome as well.

Property is nice, but overall experience is not worth the money. Organisation of parking lot is a disaster, massive lines at Checkin (waiting time exceeds 20 minutes), breakfast with extremely limited choices of healthy dishes and chaotic organisation, happy-hour in lounge with limited choices (meat only). Promised bathroom amenities turned out to be cheap copies of European products. Management is clearly not able to handle the masses.

When we arrived it was hard to communicate in English, which we hadn’t expected from a European luxury hotel chain. Butthen a lady with excellent English was called and everything went very smoothly. Our first room had a smell of smoke, so she apologized and even gave us a suite! It was very spacious, clean and comfortable, furnished in Frenchstyle with two bathrooms, living room and bedroom. The breakfast buffet was very good, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Mooi lux hotel, zeker na paar dagen logeren in binnenland hotels. Lobby, zeer ruim, wel wat kaal ingericht. Kamer is ook goed "warm" ingericht. Jammer dat je in de Lobby gerookt mag. Ontbijt is ook goed. Negatief is wel, dat je anders dan chineese taal, weinig terecht kan. Waarschijnlijk is het hotel opgezet niet voor buitenlanders. Ook jammer is dat in de non smoking room/verdieping, dat er duidelijk gerookt wordt

We will be more attentive regarding the smoking ban in our Hotel, and we have instructed all room attendants on the way to ensure the right temperature in each of our guest room, prior to any guest arrival.
