Stayed here for 3 nights. I was in Riyadh for a conference. I had not realised just how busy the hotels were going to be during this week, because of the conference and other events. Virtually all the 5-star and 4-star hotels in the city were sold out for my travel dates. The only rooms available were some presidential suites at ridiculous prices, far off hotels, or some apartments (which had received bad reviews). So I decided to stay at this hotel (at 3 times the usual room tariff) as this was one of the last hotels that still had a couple of rooms available. The hotel, as one would expect from a 3-star hotel, was quite basic. No separate shampoo in the bathroom, a soap dispenser each for the sink and the shower.. the slippers tore after wearing them for 2 hours, the room had a view of large air conditioning units nearby. The gym was literally 2-3 machines with no weights, and near the staff area of the hotel. The front desk staff and housekeeping, however, were quite efficient, and the room was acceptable. The location is also good. It’s next to Riyadh bank and 5 minutes walk from Kingdom Tower and walkable/short-drive from some good restaurants. Paying 5-star prices for a 3-star experience was always going to be disappointing. But I can’t fault the hotel for that. One should ensure their travel dates aren’t clashing with large events in the city.

llegue a este hotel como parte del programa stop over de Saudia, me pareció que la ubicación es buena aunque la entrada al hotel no es por la avenida sino por una calle trasera. El hotel está en muy buen estado (no se si sea nuevo) habitacion de buen tamaño (al menos la que me asignaron) comparada con otros Ibis que he visitado. EL desayuno me sorprendio que era muy bueno y con variedad. Lo que no me gustó nada fue la recepcionista: llegamos cansados de un largo vuelo a las 6pm y nos dice que la habitacion no esta llista porque no la han limpiado pero que en 5 minutos estará lista.... nos hizo esperar casi 1 hr por ese motivo.

Esattamente dietro la Kingdom Tower, un hotel abbastanza confortevole ideale per i viaggi di lavoro e le permanenze di 2/3 giorni. Cortese e disponibile il personale, discreta la prima colazione. Nel complesso una buona proposta di alloggio a Riyadh.

Goed hotel voor een goede prijs op prima locatie. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en voorzien van verse producten. De chef bakt op verzoek een prima omelet. De kamers zijn goed en rustig. WiFi is gratis en overal in het hotel te gebruiken.

Hotel is door werken aan de weg moeilijk bereikbaar, ingang aan de achterkant. Ziet er allemaal erg modern uit en de kamers zijn zoals in Europa. Uitsteken bed, das belangrijk. Verder is er een goed restaurant. Erg mooi gelegen tegenover Kingdom tower. Maar dan een kamer met uitkijk op een blinde muur. Wat een afknapper.
