Kamers zijn erg gedateerd en slordig afgewerkt. Schoonmaak is zeer matig en matrassen keihard/geen vering. Kamer was ook heel warm en luidruchtig (ondanks 'stille' kant). Ontbijt is meer dan prima en ontbijtpersoneel heel aardig en servicegericht.

De locatie en het personeel ware prima. Maar in de douche was er duidelijk schimmel aanwezig, de airco werkte niet en het was veel te warm op de kamer. Verder zat de lavabo bijna verstopt want die liep maar zeer traag door en ook de wc spoelde maar heel gemakkelijk door. De kamer werd ook maar amper gekuist tijdens onze aanwezigheid. We vermoeden dat op verschillende dagen enkel de vuilbak is leeg gemaakt.

Kamer en badkamer heeft dringend een renovatie nodig

Tegenover vorig jaar heeft dit hotel fors geïnvesteerd in renovatie van de kamers wat dringend nodig was. Maar de kamer was prima in orde nu. Het hotel is zeer goed gelegen daar men weg kan met alle soorten van openbaar vervoer: bus, trein, DLR. Alle personeel is zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Mijn ervaring is dat een klein probleem direct wordt rechtgezet. Bij het ontbijt heb ik een minpuntje: Variatie is er zeker genoeg maar het zou iets warmer worden gehouden. Een nieuwe toaster is ook welkom. Ik kom nu 15 jaar in dit hotel en ik blijf zien dat negatieve punten worden aangepakt en verbeterd en dat is zeer positief.

Prima locatie

Prima locatie, vlak bij het OV en veel leuke restaurantjes (buurt Cutty Sark). De kamer vlak boven het spoor is echter NIET te doen. Het is zo extreem warm in de kamer, het raam moet dus open waardoor we heel slecht hebben geslapen door het geluid van de trein en de hitte! Het hele hotel is 1 grote sauna, de douche wederom extreem warm, de kraan kouder draaien lukt ook niet. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk maar het hotel is echt aan een opfris beurt toe! Wij komen helaas niet meer naar jullie hotel.
