Het onthaal was zeer vriendelijk en hadden een super upgrade gekregen van kamer. Guest service heeft ons begeleid naar de kamer dit was zeer persoonlijk. Kamers zien er zeer mooi uit alleen de badkamers wat verouderd. Ontbijt was goed maar beperkter dan andere Sofitel hotels. Parking is zeer duur 39 euro. Voor de rest top 5 sterren hotel in het hart van Straatsburg. We komen zeker terug.

De ontvangst en het algehele verblijf was zeer luxueus en comfortabel en alles was naar wens te bestellen. De kamers zijn gezien de prijs wat aan de krappe kant (ruimte). Daarbij liep het badwater niet goed weg en maakte de gootsteen veel lawaai als de kraan open stond. dit had housekeeping kunnen laten verhelpen.

De ventilatie in kamer 216 was vrij luid, welk slapen bemoeilijkt. Accomodatie was net en verzorgd. Ontbijt en luch was aangenaam. Fijne en veelzijdige ruimte voor de conferentie.

Dit keer waren wij er voor onze trouwdag en dat is goed gevierd. Dankzij Myriam van Guest Relations was het weer onvergetelijk. Ik wil ook Laszlo bedanken die ons te hulp kwam bij een ongelukje. Maar iedereen is vriendelijk en behulpzaam in dit hotel, ook Pauline van Guest Relations en de dame die ons bediende in het restaurant, waarvan ik helaas de naam niet weet. Maar zij is kundig en vriendelijk. Het hotel zelf is ook zeer goed, mooie kamer en ruim. Toch zijn het de mensen die het maken.

Heel warm welkom: 1. Vriendelijk personeel waardoor je je als gast welkom voelt. 2. Persoonlijke aandacht: er werd gelijk gereageerd op het feit dat mijn moeder jarig was; felicitatie van de guest relation agenten (Myriam en Pauline) en de bell man. En ook een cadeau en gebakje op de kamer. Kortom de service van deze Sofitel is uitstekend. Tip: de junior suite vonden wij voor 4 pers iets aan de kleine kant. Toilet was niet zo modern als de rest v/d kamer. De ligging is geweldig.

Jammer dat we in een kamer verbleven zonder bad en welke voor rolstoelgebruikers geschikt was. De badkamer was daardoor niet naar wens.

I learn with a great regret that your stay in Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile was not fully satisfying, which is why you gave us a score of 70/100. I am particularly disappointed to read that our Alsatian-inspired buffet did not meet your expectations because of its lack of variety. You must know that, each week, we promote a selection of local and seasonal products which may explain a variety of fresh and varied, but reduced dishes selection, frequently renewed. Het onthaal was zeer goed georganiseerd, de parking valet is zeker een plus-punt in een gedeelte van de stad waar weinig parking voorhanden is. De kamer was wel ietwat klein om een verblijf van 7 dagen comfortabel te maken, zeker het gebrek aan kasten is een groot min-punt. Het aangeboden ontbijt is ruim van assortiment en meer dan voldoende. De mogelijkheid om op het terras te ontbijten is prachtig, enkel de constant aandringende en overvliegende duiven zijn niet appetijtelijk en ook niet hygiënisch. We hebben de andere ochtenden dan maar binnen ontbeten.

I am delighted to learn that you generally enjoyed your stay in our hotel, especially the our reception and valet services and the Alsatian inspired breakfast offered. I am also glad to read that you appreciated our terrace with a view over the beautiful St Pierre church! I note with regret your disapointment about the size of your room and insufficient storage space. Our hotel was built in 1964 and is the first Sofitel in the world. We therefore acknowledge that some changes have always to be done, in order to guarantee our guests the best comfort. The rooms’ size and the equipment’s renewal are some of our top priorities and we expect to be able to make such changes soon. I personnally informed the Food & Beverage Director about the fact that pigeons disturb the breakfast on the terrace. Please be assured that measures have been taken to prevent such a situation to happen again. Ik verbleef helemaal niet in hotel van 21 op 22 juli.Wel een verblijf vorig jaar. Ik schrok me een hoedje dat ik een paar dagen na 22 juli een mail kreeg van de afrekening via mijn creditcard.Heb onmidddellijk gebeld om dit te melden en vreesde voor hacking creditcard.. De dame begreep het onmiddellijk en zei dat het ook om een”p.”ging en men de rekening naar een verkeerde e-mailadres gestuurd had(het mijne).Heb dan gevraagd of dit ook niet gedebiteerd was van mijn creditcard(gegevens zijn uiteraard in hun bezit gezien vorige verblijven).Daar was ze affirmatief in dat dit niet gebeurd was.Ik wacht de afrekening af van mijn creditcard af om te kijken of dit idd.het geval is.
