We love the Ibis at Brisbane Airport. It is basic but clean. Great food in the Cribb Island Restaurant., and realty handy to the domestic terminal, with a shuttle to international ($8)

Dirty bathroom with mould

Very expensive for a very basic hotel When I were enquiring the reception girl said it was last of two rooms But when I complained about the dirty bathroom the manager said she could move us to one of the vacant rooms on the same floor which seemed hard to believe that there were only two rooms left earlier in the day as this was later in the night We chose not to move rooms as we had just unpacked and were preparing to shower The manager agreed the mold was unacceptable but said what looked like soap scum was stain At $300 a night a the room and cleanliness was a lot less than I would expect

As we are an airport hotel, we have guest arriving as late as 6am the following morning for their accommodation. With this in mind, our housekeeping and maintenance teams are available until late and would have had the opportunity to clean the room prior to the next guests arrival. Our cleanliness standards are incredible important to us, and I can assure you that your comments were communicated to our Hotel Manager and Housekeeping Executive at the time. I greatly appreciate the time you have taken to provide your feedback and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
