I went to the reception to make a reservation for my family for one night for the next month. The receptionist said "hmmm its very expensive"... strange... usualy sellers want to sell, not the opposite. Then I said I want to proceed with the booking anyway and asked for the cancelation policy. The answer was: until 24h before its free to cancel". I gave all the details and suddenly she said "ohh I'm sorry but in fact you have to pay full ticket now" no reason was presented. It was stated something 5 minutes earlier. It appears to me that the receptionist did everything within reach to avoid the booking. Unpolity and unclear. Not recommended.

A very good basic hotel. The bar has a very limited meal menu though. Just offering pizzas!! Why not offer traditional German quick food like wurst and potato salad, just as easy as pizzas, and more " German". This is why I couldn't grade higher than 7

Central location close to the train station

Positive: central location, easy to access the city. Negative: reception staff was not very welcoming or accommodating, room for two was quite small and stained, bed and pillows were not comfortable, breakfast buffet was pricey.
