Arrived early evening, received a nice welcome with room upgrade to 7th floor with nice river view. Enjoyed the breakfast both mornings, was plenty of choices all very good & fresh. Also had dinner which was great. Valet parking was reasonable cost & made parking nice and easy. The staff are all very friendly and make your stay enjoyable. We have stayed at a number of Ibis hotels in many countries and overall this would be the best. Well done Ibis Hamilton Tainui, certainly recommend staying at this hotel.

room clean, as new renovated, excellent staff service, only pillows ware not conformable, make my neck sore, hope there is some pillow options, wish shower have flexibility shower head. I am often travel to Hamilton due to my work need, I always either stay in Novotel and Ibis.

We were given a wheelchair access room with a connecting door to the room next door. The bathroom had lots of water on the floor from the shower and the water from the shower was intermittently hot/ cold. We could hear quite clearly conversation from the connecting room. The Hotel itself was great and we will stay again…but we will ask not to have a wheelchair accessible room or a connecting room.
