The staff was attentive, and the housekeeper and our son left notes for each other; I really appreciate the pocket doors to separate the living area (our son's sleeping area) from the bedroom—trade off for no view. The property is showing signs of age and wear, so hopefully will be getting some attention soon. There were some interesting smells. We live within blocks of Sofitel in Los Angeles so know the brand. We had no need for a taxi or Uber since the proximity to McPherson Sq is a convenient mini-hub of several lines.

From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the Front Desk staff, I felt like a welcomed guest at the Sofitel! Charming architecture, European charm, and lovely ambiance set the tone for my four-night business travel stay. Keurig coffee, a bathrobe, glass shower stall with Balmain Paris products, hair dryer, executive size desk and multiplicity of outlets and ports, long with Googlecasting to the large TV from my cell phone made for a magnificent stay! My new DC work travel hotel!
