Fantastic location behind the Shard. Easy access to Borough Market, bars, restaurants and riverside. Hotel very clean. Great breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly Rasa Nakutiene who helped me located my mobile phone which I had misplaced. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel but I didn’t love our room…it was different than the pictures online. I really don’t like the sink right by the bed, meaning I don’t like bathrooms without walls. We came with our teenage son and the see-through shower door was also not our favorite feature. Also, the shower drain wasn’t draining. The safe wouldn’t turn on. Our toilet clogged so we asked for maintenance to fix those three problems, but they didn’t fix the shower. Our son slept on the foldout bed but it was a single and was supposed to be a double. Breakfast was ok but understaffed so if they ran out of something it was a long wait (I just needed milk for my coffee and all the milk jars were empty, even by the cereal). But you can’t beat the location, the hotel was impeccably clean, and staff was friendly.

Very friendly and efficient staff at check in and breakfast. The hotel is well located. One critic, very slow and not very attentive bar service. We went to have drinks at the bar twice and the first time we had to wait quite a long time to be seated then very slow to come and take our order and serve the drinks. The second time we literally waited 10 mins. for someone to take our order and after 10 mins. waiting for the drinks we canceled the order as we had to go out to a dinner meeting.
