Me and the wife stayed for her Birthday. The hotel is located in a great location. The whole team we met have been friendly and polite, doorman, receptionist etc all very friendly and smiling . Miriam showed us around the hotel and its facilities, continued to show us our room, all knowledgeable, friendly and polite throughout. Room was nice and clean. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. We will definitely be back.

This is the only comment I can make. One, when asked to the barman in the bar at lunchtime on Sunday for a Harvey’s Bristol Cream Sherry, he seemed not the understand what I was asking for. The lad was extremely pleasant, but couldn’t quite understand what I was asking for. One other comment, and this is based on my own personal preference. Why serve streaky bacon, not back bacon, when offering a Full English Breakfast.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with the streaky bacon at breakfast as this normally receives rave reviews. We can certainly provide back bacon upon request if given 24 hrs notice, do let us know next time. We will also work on better familiarising the bar team with drinks offerings to prevent any misunderstandings in the future, we do offer a cream sherry however not the particular brand requested.
