We were frustrated with the inability to control the air temperature in the rooms as well as not being able to open a window. The rooms were hot and stuffy and resulted in my husband getting ill during our stay.

Lovely hotel, nice bar/lounge area. Rooms were very clean but a little tired, staff were very helpful. Rooms are extremely hot and no way of controlling the temperature. Our windows opened, but the street outside is very noisy with groups of homeless people gathering, chatting, playing loud music ALL night.

The hotel was in a great location hence why I chose it but the experience was quite disappointing. The hotel had no ventilation turned on and was still in "heat mode" even though the temperature outside was in the 60's. My room was extremely hot so they brought me a fan. The fan was so dusty that I had to take it a part and wash it in the bathtub before I could use it. They sent a male technician to my room the next morning who barged in my room without knocking (even though I had the do not disturb on) while I was changing clothes. I was completely caught off guard and scared that someone would barge in my room like that without any notice. I ended up changing rooms that day but the new room was just as hot. I called the front desk to say my room was still hot and asked if they could bring me another fan. The front desk concierge brought me a fan and was extremely rude to me and said "I don't know what else to tell you" when I explained to him that the temperature in my room was unbearable. I opened my windows in hopes it would help which let in several bugs. I ended up killing several flying bugs and 5 spiders that came in through the window. The carpet floor was disgusting and had burn marks in it. The ceiling of the shower had black mold present and the room smelled of dust and mold. My room # was 709 and I highly suggest you inspect this as this could be damaging to an individuals health. I have stayed in many hotels in France and throughout the EU and never experienced such disgusting conditions. It seems this hotel is more focused on sustainability as opposed to the general health and well being of it's hotel guests. I was absolutely appalled at the conditions and tried to find another hotel with vacancy but because of the UK/FR Rugby game, there was no hotel availability so I had to endure this hotel for 5 nights. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to any of my coworkers.

I enjoyed my stay . The staff at reception , housekeeping and in restaurant were all friendly, and courteous . I especially liked the ability to fill up my water bottle with soda water as often as I wanted . The only complaint was the heat in the room & being unable to open the windows .
