Hotel was near the tram and metro. Convenient to get around. Hotel was what you pay for-it was quite dated but was still ok.

Velvon A Couples - TripAdvisor review

Stayed for 2 nights. It was a good stay overall. Alexander at the reception is great at customer service, super efficient and welcoming. Upgraded us to executive room. Room was not too compact nor spacious. Big enough to store 2 large back packs. Room and bathroom was clean and tidy but old. Floor planks were squeaky. Room had hot water kettle, nespresso machine with pods and regular tea coffee. Bath towels/hand towels were old (clean but old). Air-conditioning only works from 5:00pm to 11:00pm due to some Milan city rules. This is the first ever hotel I have come across to have an emergency button in a bathroom (long thread from the ceiling to bath tub) to be used in case of emergency.

Paper thin walls

We stayed in Milan for a night prior to our trip to cinque terra. The room was more or less clean. The issue was how thin the walls are. We were beside the elevators, so we heard all the guests that passed by and the elevator. We didn’t have a restful night.

The location was safe, next to the transportation. The room was full of dust. Old room, old bathroom.
