Booked room for 3. Couple & 10 year old. Room was about as small as could be imagined. What I assume was normally a desk became the third bed meaning limited options to place anything. Two plug sockets in a fairly inaccessible spot for charging devices. Check in slow. Quality of room fairly basic & looked like my 10 year old had done the painting of walls! That said, good location a few minutes walk from the metro stop. Got a lovely small breakfast for 7 euros next to metro stop. Room was clean & functional & despite initial comments I would stay again if the price was right. Large beer was 6 euros in the bar - so have a drink!

This was the third cheapest option for us. I thought that it would be relatively comfortable however it wasn't. The premium price is for the location. It's close to the tube as well as Sacre de Cour, Montmarte streets etc. This was the only thing we liked about this hotel. Ah sorry, room cleaning is also good. If you ask, they will clean and tidy up. When it comes to the negatives, the rooms are so small. Just bed and bathroom. A small window with cemetary view :) Another thing is that the front desk ladies are so rude with very little English. When we called to ask for 1 hour early check in, one of the ladies told us to come but when we arrived, another lady told the opposite. She was annoyingly not communicative. Lastly, the lifts are like a nightmare. It's insufficient and not working properly. Don't expect too much.

Tired and in need of modernisation

The Hotel is very well located, however in significant need of modernisation. The rooms are very dated and a bit musty. The breakfast was also very disappointing. There was very little hot food available, only scrambled egg and sausages. The hot food wasn't replenished and when requested, cold scrambled eggs were provided. Clearly precooked and taken straight form the fridge. We cancelled breakfast after the 1st morning!

We stayed one night at this hotel, and for one night it was fine. They are currently having some work done to one of the lifts, so there is two of the three lifts working - but it sounds like they need to take another one out of action. We stayed on the 5th floor and every time the lift went up or down, it sounded like someone dragging something across the floor. Awful. The room was fine - compact, but did the job. No kettle in the room though, which was a surprise. Bed was comfy, and bathroom was clean albeit a little rundown. At night however, the room seemed to heat up like an oven and I couldn’t seem to cool it down. Hotel is in a good location and close to a bus stop and the metro - so I would stay again….I’d just ask for a room away from the lifts!
