  1. The ‘Velocity Frequent Flyer Double Points’ offer is governed by the general terms and conditions of the Le Club AccorHotels program, and you must be a member of the Le Club AccorHotels program in order to take advantage of the offer.
  2. This offer entitles Le Club AccorHotels members, regardless of their membership status to multiply their Rewards points by two (2) for a stay at participating AccorHotels properties in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia. Rewards points will automatically be converted to Velocity Frequent Flyer Points. 
  3.   This Rewards points bonus is offered in addition to the Rewards points and Status points that are usually earned by the Le Club AccorHotels member on completing an eligible stay in accordance with the Le Club AccorHotels general conditions of use.
  4. This promotion does not apply to stays at Le Club AccorHotels partner hotels.
  5. In order to benefit from this bonus, the member must have activated ‘Velocity Frequent Flyer’ as their preferred automatic conversion option ahead of the stay. This option must remain activated until the Rewards points related to the stay have been credited to the member's Le Club AccorHotels account.
  6. This offer is valid for all stays at a participating hotel completed by a member from 01 October 2019 to 09 December 2019, and booked between 01 October 2019 and 31 October 2019. For a list of non-participating hotels click here
  7. All consecutive stays (check-out and subsequent check-in on the same day) in the same hotel will count as a single stay. The Velocity Frequent Flyer Double Points offer only applies once to each stay.
  8. For the purposes of this offer, a stay is understood to be one (1) booking made by a Le Club AccorHotels member for one or several rooms in a participating hotel. In other words, bookings that include more than one (1) room will count as just one (1) stay.
  9. To take advantage of this offer, your booking must be made via AccorHotels.com, our participating brands' websites and apps, or the AccorHotels call centres. Bookings made via any other channel will not be eligible to benefit from this offer.
  10. You must provide your Le Club AccorHotels membership card number when making your booking, and present your card at the hotel reception desk when checking in for your stay.
  11. The Le Club AccorHotels Rewards points bonus will be credited to your account within 10 days of checking out and then converted to Velocity Points within six (6) weeks, in accordance with the current conversion terms.
  12. This offer cannot be combined with other current offers or promotional benefits and does not apply to groups. If a stay meets the terms and conditions for several offers, only the Rewards points linked to the most advantageous offer (i.e. the offer that earns the member the highest number of Rewards points) will be credited to the member's account.

Section 1: Promotion
  1. Promotion:  Book for an eligible stay between 01 October 2019 and 31 October 2019 and stay between 01 October 2019 and 09 December 2019 as a Le Club AccorHotels loyalty member at any participating hotel in the Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia), and go in the draw to win one (1) prize of four (4) nights’ accommodation including breakfast at the SO/ Auckland, plus 100,000 Le Club AccorHotels Rewards points (automatically converted to Velocity Frequent Flyer Points).

  1. The Promoter is AAPC Limited (ABN 87 009 175 820) of Level 30, Angel Place, 123 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000.
  1. Promotion period: The promotion will commence at 12.01am (AEDT) on 01 October 2019 and will close at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31 October 2019. All times recorded throughout these terms and conditions are in Australian Eastern Standard Time and Australian Eastern Daylight Time.

Section 2: Eligibility
  1. Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in this Promotion, the participant must during the Promotion:
  1. be above 18 years of age; and
  2. be a current member of the Le Club AccorHotels and Velocity Frequent Flyer Loyalty Programs for the duration of the Promotion; and
  3. have set “Velocity Frequent Flyer” as their automated conversion partner in their Le Club AccorHotels membership account; and
  4. book a minimum of 1 night between 01 October 2019 and 31 October 2019 and stay between 01 October 2019 and 09 December 2019  in the name of the registered person at a participating hotel, and
  5. stay on a Le Club AccorHotels eligible rate booked via an eligible Le Club AccorHotels booking channel, and
  6. enter or quote their Le Club AccorHotels membership number with every booking and when checking into a participating hotel.

Non-eligibility: Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, its agencies and companies associated with this Incentive, and Le Club AccorHotels members who reside in a country/region where entry into this promotion is prohibited by law, are not eligible to enter.

Entrants are not eligible to enter the Promotion or win any Prize if they are a director or manager, an employee or immediate family member of an employee of the Promoter, or an employee of their agencies associated with the Promotion including Velocity Frequent Flyer and its related entities.

Section 3: Entry to the Promotion
  1. To enter the Promotion, eligible entrants must:
  1. Stay at minimum 1 night at a participating hotel during the Promotion period and book via www.accorhotels.com/leclub and automatically receive one (1) entry into the prize draw for every eligible stay during the Promotion period.

Section 4: Draw
  1. Draws: A representative of the Promoter will conduct a computerised random draw from all eligible entries at 2.00pm (AEDT) on 20 December 2019 at MDSA, Level 17, 40 Mount Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.

Prize Details:
All eligible entries will go in the draw to win the following prize:

The Prize Winner will be selected at random from a computer-generated listing of entries that comply with Section 2 and 3 of these terms and conditions over the Promotion Period.
  1. Prize Winner: The Prize described in Sections 4 will be awarded to the first valid entrant drawn as described in Clause 6. If a winner is unable to accept the prize in its entirety the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn.

Section 5: Prize
  1. Prize Components & Conditions:
There is one (1) prize of a 4 nights’ accommodation at SO/ Auckland including breakfast daily and, and 100,000 Le Club AccorHotels Rewards points in this promotion.
  1. Prize Value: The prize has a maximum notional value of AU$6,000. Values are correct as at 17 July 2019. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in value.
  1. General Prize Conditions: Each Prize is subject to the following conditions:
  1. No exchange of Prize: The Prize can be transferred to a person 18 years or over at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. However, it cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. If for any reason, the Prize Winner cannot take any component of the Prize and he/she does not wish to transfer the Prize, then the Prize will be forfeited;
  2. Taxes: If a Prize or receipt incurs a tax liability, the Prize Winner is liable for payment of such tax;
  1. Prize Validity: The accommodation component of the prize is valid 20 December 2019 to 30 June 2020 and is subject to availability. Black-out dates of 31 December, 14 February, 16 February, 18 February and 20 February apply. The Le Club AccorHotels Rewards points component of the prize is subject to the general terms and conditions of the Le Club AccorHotels program.
  1. The Prize does not include airfares (domestic or international), transport or transfers to/from the hotel unless specified in section 4. Meals, tips, domestic travel to and from any departure point, room service, minibar, telephone charges and any other personal expenses, (other than those specified in section 4), are the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion.
  1.  Any travel or entry documentation such as Passports, entry Visas & any Insurances, will be the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion. Where applicable, it is the Winner’s responsibility to check with government travel advisory and immigration authorities regarding travel requirements and eligibility. Any fines, penalties, payments and expenditure incurred as a result of not meeting such requirements are the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion.
  1. The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, postponement, delay or rescheduling of any element of a Prize. Any costs, without limitation, incurred, will be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.
  1. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original Prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter and any associated companies involved in the Promotion, make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist/apply, regarding a Prize. It is the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion, to make all reasonable enquiries with all relevant government travel advisory bodies for information regarding the safety and any other situation at Prize destination or location.
  1.  If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation and subsequent approval.

Section 6: Prize Winners
  1. Contact: The Promoter will contact the Prize Winner in writing within two (2) business days of the prize draw to confirm their eligibility under these terms and conditions and to confirm whether the Prize Winner wishes to claim their Prize. The name of the winner will be published in The Australian newspaper on 20 November 2019.
  1. Claim of Prize: If a Prize Winner wishes to claim their Prize, the Prize Winner must confirm this fact and their eligibility to win under these terms and conditions within 3 months of the applicable draw. If a Prize Winner fails to do so by the deadline, the Prize Winner will be deemed to have forfeited their Prize.
  1. Redraws: Subject to applicable law, in the event that a Prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter will conduct further draws on 25 February 2020, following the same procedure and format as set out under Section 4 above. The redraw will take place at the same time and location as the original draw, if required.
  1. Redraw Winners: The Prize Winner from the redraw will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the redraw. The name of the winner will be announced online at https://www.accorhotels.com/leclub on 27 February 2020 and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 3 March 2020. In the event that a redrawn Prize Winner is not eligible, the Promoter will conduct a redraw until the Prize is awarded (subject to any further regulatory directions).
  1. Winner Publicity: In accepting a Prize, the Prize Winner agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements made by or on the behalf of the Promoter. The Prize Winner further acknowledges that the Promoter reserves the right to publicise their name, address and photographs without any payment being made to them in respect of this Promotion.

Section 7: General Conditions
  1. Lost, Delayed Communication: The Promoter will not be responsible for any delayed, lost or misdirected mail or any other communication.
  1. Release: To the fullest extent permissible by law, each entrant in the Promotion including without limitation the Prize Winner, releases the Promoter from any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by such entrant in connection with the Prize or their participation in the Promotion. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential and economic loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, the promotion of this Promotion, or the use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to participants' or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this Promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  1. Force Majeure: Subject to State legislation the Promoter will not be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay by the Promoter that is due to an act of God, riots, acts of terrorism, storms, fire, any labour or industrial dispute, any strike, and other acts, which are not reasonably within the control of the Promoter.
  1. Disputes: In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. Privacy Notice: During the course of the Promotion, the Promoter may collect personal information in relation to entrants. This may include, but is not limited to, the names, email addresses, telephone numbers and credit card details of the entrants, provided by the entrant on the online enquiry form, registration form or when paying for services provided by the participating Hotel. The entrant's personal information is collected so the Promoter is able to conduct the Prize Draw and to contact and award the Prize to the Prize Winner, to publish the results of the Promotion and to publicise the Promotion. You consent to your personal information being shared with Velocity Frequent Flyer. Velocity’s Privacy Policy  available at https://experience.velocityfrequentflyer.com/member-support/privacy states how you can seek to access or correct your personal information and how to make a privacy complaint. You can contact the Virgin Australia Privacy Officer at privacy@virginaustralia.com.

Consent to use of Personal Information for Marketing Purposes: Furthermore, by entering this Promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the retention and use of the information collected pursuant to Clause 22 by the Promoter, which trades as Accor Asia Pacific and the Accor Group. For details about who we are, how we may use your information and what your rights are under the new privacy laws, please see our Privacy Policy, which is available from the Promoter at the address provided in Section 1, Clause 2 or online at www.accorhotels.com/gb/security-certificate/index.shtml. Uses may include future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, or distribution of marketing materials for goods or services in the tourism, hospitality and services industries from the Accor Group or from companies in the tourism and hospitality industry in which the Promoter holds shares.
