The main advantage of this budget hotel is its location, across the road from the main station. My room was clean and large although it lacked a kettle and only one towel was provided. I was handed more after mentioning this at reception. To access breakfast I think you had to buy a ticket and scan it at a barrier, which reminded me of a school canteen or train station. Not a good look! I never did find out as there was nobody on reception to ask! I did sneak in and what was on offer was quite honestly, extremely limited. Overall, ok to stop for a night, but not any longer!

Nice affordable hotel next to the train station. Here is everything you need for one or two nights. The location is good fro transport links, but there is nothing else here, no restaurants, no bars, no cafes. You need to walk 1 KM to get these things.

This hotel ticks all of the necessary things and does them well, without including much else. It's a good price in a great location (when I was looking it was actually the same price as the main-range Ibis up the road - but the location is better). Right next to the railway station, and a ten minute walk into the city centre. Comfy bed, fast and reliable wifi, decent (but not amazing) shower. My room overlooked the bus station (and the train station beyond), but the soundproofing was excellent - when I closed the window I couldn't hear the noise beyond, and the air con mean that closing the window in summer was viable. Those with long hair might like to know that there's no drier in the room - they're available from reception for a deposit. Didn't try the breakfast - it hardly seemed necessary when there are a supermarket and a bakery within 2 minutes of the door.

비오는 날 도착하여 걱정되었는 데, 호텔이 브레멘역 바로 앞에 있어 반갑고, 매우 편리했다. 룸은 매우 청결하고, 따뜻하여 편안한 잠자리를 취할 수 있어 좋았다. 역앞이라 먹거리도 많아 편리했고, 조식도 독일인 점을 감안하면 괜챦은 편이다. 우산도 빌려줘서 잘 쓰고 돌려주었고, 직원들도 친절한 편이다. 전반적으로 만족하게 지냈습니다.

The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.
