This hotel is all about fun especially if your on a romantic weekend, its not particularly set up for families, especially with all the red lighting in the rooms! The bed is very comfortable except the hotel needs to deal with the issue that the bed frame sticks out into the room and my husband hurt his leg on it as you dont see it until its too late. We really liked the bar, very cool ambiance, the breakfast was really nice, the staff super friendly and of course being across the road from the Place Wilson is perfect.

This is the second "Mama Shelter" I've stayed in and would choose it again. The place has a real funky feel but the room was large for a European room and was well equipped. Rooftop bar and restaurant was great. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the location was excellent. Easy walk from the train station.

This is a trendy restaurant in central Toulouse. It’s is a busy area. We ate lunch on the rooftop area where there are many tables and a sunbed section with views over the city. Service was great. Food was good. Wine was good but expensive. I would recommend this place.

What a hotel The location is absolutely amazing and you can pretty much everywhere from the hotel and there is plenty to see and do The food in the main restaurant is great and the cocktails are absolutely brilliant. The roof top restaurant is also brilliant and the pizzas are pretty nice. Loved the people and the service was pretty nifty My only downside was there is a bit of noise from outside. I was there on a weekend and our room was on the street The rooms are super comfy and trendy but I'd ask for a room further away if you're a light sleeper

We were really excited to stay here as the hotel and restaurant both looked really fun and exciting, especially for the kids. So we were very disappointed by the reception we got when we arrived. We arrived an hour before check in extremely hot and tired. We had travelled to Toulouse on a very crowded train, standing the whole way, and temperatures were around 35 degrees (in the shade) so by the time we’d walked to the hotel with all our luggage we were looking forward to sitting down and getting a drink! As our room wasn’t yet ready we asked if we could sit in the restaurant and have a drink and were told by the staff there, in very unfriendly tones, that there were no tables available for us as it was the second sitting on a Sunday lunchtime. This was clearly not the case as we could see a large amount of empty tables both inside and outside on the terrace under shade. There was nowhere in the hotel lobby for us to sit. It was too hot for us to venture out again, and we didn’t know where to go, so I pressed to sit somewhere inside and said we’d only need the table until our room was ready. One of the members of staff then took us to a table that was out on the terrace and in direct midday sunlight - when there were so many other available seats inside and under shelter!! I pressed again to sit in the shade (my children were overheating by this point) and again got told in a very condescending manner that this wouldn’t be possible. The whole thing was ridiculous. I don’t understand when paying to stay at a hotel why we wouldn’t be allowed to sit at some empty tables in the shade / inside in order to buy some drinks while waiting for our room to be ready on one of the hottest days of the year. Eventually, and begrudgingly, we were offered a table right next to where people were queuing for the buffet. Maybe I would have understood the pompous attitude about not allowing us to sit down if they really had been full. But throughout the time we were there and waiting all of the other, more comfortable tables, (at least 10 of them) remained empty. I was so upset about how we’d been treated as we had all been very excited about staying here and don’t often splash out on hotels. And we were treated by the restaurant staff like second class citizens. It was a real shame as I think if we’d just been shown a bit of professional hospitality our experience here would have been completely different. But the staff at the restaurant were rude and stuck up with a superiority complex. The staff on reception were lovely and helpful, the beds were very comfy and the breakfast was delicious. So if you can avoid those staff then I imagine you would probably have a lovely time here!
