Aardige ontvangst. Nette en schone kamer. Ik raad dit hotel iedereen aan. Ontbijt keurig. Ook het barretje is leuk en qua prijs netjes. Het enige minpunt is het kussen daar mag echt wat meer aandacht aan worden besteed. Verse jus en croissantjes pluspunt.

The staff were so, so kind and helpful with our little baby. They managed to find a bottle heater and took care of sterilizing the bottles. Good breakfast with everything you need and then some. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom is huuuge. Spacious and enclosed parking lot, monitored 24/7. The hotel is a 6 minutes drive away from an exceptional archeological park (for kids and adults alike) and a planetarium.

Disappointing lack of airconditioning.

The building and facilities were good. The staff were excellent. The bar was open but dinner was down to two choices; Chicken or beef. The breakfast was fine, though not up to the usual Styles standards. Difficult times! Apparently only the smaller rooms on the top floor are airconditioned. We had a hot night on the first floor. We were offered a move but having unpacked and being tired, we declined. I wish we had!

we stayed on our journey back to England, mid September. the price was 87 Euros including a very nice breakfast, as an Accor member. The rooms felt brand new and of excellent quality.The only downsides were the very long walk to the centre of Douai and the rather expensive bar. Ideal hotel if you do not wish to go to the town. didn't eat in the restaurant, so can not comment.

Modern with typical expensive French accommodation

We were looking for an Accor hotel late in the day for a stop over that was not too far from Calais for our trip back to the UK the next day. Looking for in or around Lille , with good secure outdoor parking for our high top VW camper, that accepts pets, and has a restaurant. This was the only hotel that came up on our search. Very modern hotel , the lady who checked us in and out was lovely attempting her broken English which we were very grateful for. The dogs cost 10€ each we have two small Jack Russells. The room for a Thursday night in January was 137€ roughly for two people, this included breakfast whether you wanted it or not! We found the bar and restaurant to be very expensive 10€ for a large beer on tap, understand paying this in some cities for the surroundings but not in an Ibis Styles!! The staff were over stretched we found we were having to wait at the bar for drinks, the receptionist was having to come and serve drinks. Not good having to wait with the price they were charging! Beware the room walls are very thin we were in room 26 and next door we could hear the man what seemed like he was shouting in to his phone (after 11pm) we were tired full of food and needed sleep, so my partner popped to the reception to inform them, nothing was done so he went back thinking possibly the receptionist had not understood him. Finally there was a knock next door and the shouting stopped!! The restaurant had a good choice of food, we ordered from the 3 course menu, very good value for the quality of food we really enjoyed our meal. The breakfast was a help yourself buffet with ham cheese , bread, cakes, cereals, eggs, yoghurts tea coffee and juice. All of which were stale and had been out all morning! This was of low quality compared to the restaurant food and disappointing. Shower was fine good flow of water, the bed creaked when you moved and had a memory foam mattress topper which made us sweat as it wrapped around your body ( how many other people have sweated in it yak!!!) This hotel is for business men and women who are charging out to their work! It’s expensive for a 1 night stop over for a tourist.
