I am very good experience in Brazil in staying in Mercure. They have very excellent customer service, especially Bruno, Alan and Duda! Mariana was very helpful too! She always helped us when we asked, giving informations and recommendations!

Good and Clean hotel. Especially Eduarda Ester was really nice. The rooms can be a bit bigger and the breakfast could Change a bit more. but those are only little Things. The Service with the beach with the chairs and umbrella ist also really good.

The hotel was in general good but below standards of what you normally get in Europe (although this is a French group). The hotel seems quite new (renovated). The room was quite spatious facing the Copabacana. However there was a big tree in front that hided me completely the view. I stayed 5?nights so I expected a room with better view (especially I asked but they told me they are renovating the top floors. No sure as I saw guests going on the top). The room should be better insulated against noise of the road that you hear constantly as well as other guests’room. The finitions of bathroom should be redone as not what is expected from a 4stars. The breakfast is standard but also below EU standards. The bread and croissants are unfortunately not good. In general the quality and variety can be enhanced. I ate few times at the restaurant for diner. The ceviche is not good (they cut the fish too big and I feel not well prepared) whereas the filet of boeuf wit pasta is very good. The location is very good. Located on the main street in front of Copacabana beach. The receptionists are overall very nice and helpful. Special thanks to the new joiner Eduarda that bring a lot of light and happiness. Thank you to Bruno and Esther helping me and answering questions.

Only a good location!!

The location on Copacabana Beach is fine, and that is about it. The room with two twin beds was exceedingly small, the shower had black mold, the floors were filthy. We had to pain the cleaning lady extra daily to have the room somewhat cleaner. It was raining for two days, and the hotel had no umbrellas for guests. Trying to make change for a large denomination REAL was impossible, since the front desk staff NEVER had cash. I would NOT recommend this hotel.
