Our family had the very best sofitel resort and spa experience here in sofitel manila. Facilities such as excellent airconditioning from room and all through out the hotel, kids playground, garden and a very large pool for all ages. We very much appreciated the kids club activities and free shuttle services to Mall of Asia. Best hospitality service in the world. Our stay was in a middle of a system upgrade which didn't go as seemless as it should have been. Despite that we appreciate that every staff is working extra hard to minimize inconvenience to guests in every way possible. Special thanks to house keeping staff Louie Tropa who quickly accomodates our requests and ensured our room always had everything we need so we didn't have to ask thru out our 9 nights stay. And to the rest of sofitel staff in club millesime, le bar, spiral, accorplus, concierge and front desk your hard work is very much appreciated. Keep it up

Facilities are dated but tolerable given the price. The food is excellent. Staff from the front desk need to be re-trained to be more customer-oriented and accommodating. I was queuing for check in lane and the front desk manager just looked at me, without even acknowledging me. I can patiently wait for my turn but a simple gesture for me to hold on is much appreciated rather than just looking at me with a blank face. It turns out there is an open check in counter and she didn’t even bother to redirect me to that slot. Check in and check out generally took so much of our time. Good thing we got our room early, which is a fair compromise. The receptionist at Cocos needs to be evaluated as well. We are raising our hands from the pool area to get our orders because their service bell seemed to be broken. This “trainee” avoided looking at us as if she didn’t notice us when we were just few meters away. When she had no choice but to notice us, the staff obviously pointed fingers amongst themselves on who should take our orders which seemed off from the guest’s POV. This same trainee even refused us to borrow a chair for my PWD/senior dad because he couldn’t sit on pool recliners. She just told me “hindi pwede” (not allowed). Few minutes after, her colleague offered us a chair. She should’ve told us that she may need to confirm this request first rather than turning us down right away. However, Spiral continues to be a top notch in service and food quality. We commend Mr. Shann, our attending waiter who took care of us since we are dining with a PWD.

Not a five start hotel, lifts do not work and there is a line of >30 people to check in

Staff is extremely friendly. Room service and house keeping are great. Unfortunately, every day I had to wait up to 30 minutes for the lift. They are so greedy that they book hotel full knowing they do not have capacity to provide even such a simple service as LIFTS! On daily basis there was a line of more than 20 people waiting for the lift while only 2 out of six lifts worked. On the day of my check out it took me 35 mintues to get from my room to the lobby! As if that was not bad enough, airconditioining in the corridors and in the lifts was switched off. I arrived in the lobby sweating before I even exited the hotel. The staff are hard working and very friendly, but the general manager should have been fired long ago. I complained to the manager on duty and they never even contacted me to apologize.

We had a very pleasant stay and the buffet breakfast at Spiral was awesome. Excellent service by Geremie of Spiral and Chef Bryan of spiral (Culinary). They went out of their way to satisfy my baiik-bayan cravings for Danggit! Thank you Geremie, Chef Bryan, all Spiral staff and the rest of Sofitel staff for making our stay a very memorable one.

One of the best pool areas in Manila. Very good room service, Josh and Jill vere always so happy and made the day feel good. A very good restaurant with buffet breakfast, large variety of Asian and Western food, with special French cheese room.
