This IBIS has a good location, close to the cathedral and centre, near the river. Parking is available at private multi-storey carpark nearby and other carparks. The downstairs of the hotel is modern with good decoration. The hotel corridors are dated. The room is basic, painted anaglypta wallpaper, and the tan paint is a poor choice of colour. Only an overnight stop but would not return.

This hotel has all the usual Ibis features, although it has no parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Free wifi throughout the hotel, Good breakfast, with 'doggy bags' to take some fruit for 'vitamins on the go'.. The nearest car parks are five to ten minutes away. Although not quite the nearest Parking Moliere is the most accessible on the flat. As this hotel is in the town centre the car parks can be full, especially on a Saturday. It is possible to park briefly outside the hotel (in the 'livraisons' areas to drop off or pick up luggage. The hotel is superbly located for the centre of Angers, beside the Loirte with the cathedral just around the corner.

The stay at the IBIS Angers Center was comfortable; the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly. It would be good though if the IBIS hotels also offered more English channels on TV in the room (for non French speakers), as well as a coffee maker in the room.

Ibis hotels are quite standard. You know what to expect. This one was clean, with excellent bedding. The room was small but cheerful. The furniture was well designed. The bathroom was in excellent condition. BUT the exit from the shower was slippery. It could be very risky and dangerous. NO bar to hold on to for people with a mobility problem. The whole hotel seemed to have been recently renovated. The staff was pleasant, helpful and effective. The breakfast was included, good quality, and plentiful. Good value for money. The location is excellent, close to the train station, to the "CHATEAU", to good restaurants and to the old town. I would certainly choose it again if coming back to Angers.

Friendly staff and great sights. We arrived by motorcycle, due to the roadworks it was a pain to find a route to the parking locally so they told me to park on the pavement outside out of anyone’s way. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Roadworks are a nightmare but this isn’t the hotels fault.
