The rooms could do with a good clean. The food was cheap and nasty. The price of drinks extortionate. As for the staff they were rude and customer service must be swear words to them. I wish we had stayed somewhere else and recommend anyone thinking of staying here - don’t!!!

Stayed en route from Provence to Calais with my mother and teenage kids. Check in was quick and friendly, although on opening our door we found someone else already in our room ….I did a bit of a double take when I saw cases and clothes hanging on chairs etc but this was quickly sorted out by the reception team and we were given another room a couple of doors down. The kids swam in the pool while we had a G&T on the terrace. We’d booked half board so had dinner in the hotel which was a buffet service. I had not been looking forward to this as last year the food was not great but this year there was a huge improvement both in what was on offer and the quality of the team. The desserts were very nice indeed. Our waiter was really helpful regarding drinks choices and was happy to chat football with my sons. We had a good night’s sleep followed by a buffet breakfast with again a lot of choice. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it and the hotel is next to a petrol station and 2 mins from an E Leclerc hypermarket - although on this occasion it was closed as it was a bank holiday (15th August). I am sure we’ll be back on our next trip to France.

Not very clean, not very good, staff very rude. Parking is on site and reasonably good. Should get a welcome drink as a gold member, no drink was provided and staff ignored me when I stood at the desk waiting to ask if I would be provided with a drink. After about three minutes I said excuse me please and the staff member replied I am busy you can wait. I didn’t wait, I left Will not be returning

This was the first hotel we stayed in France (after coming from Geneva, Switzerland). The location of the hotel was quite out of the way, with no nearby shopping mall or eateries. There's a petrol kiosk with a small convenience store and KFC was about 15mins walk away and all others were industrial or commercial shops or plant nurseries. The hotel has a nice and big lobby though, cosy and relaxing with many nice decors at the side, like a huge teddy bear etc. And there is no formal checkin counter and staff just sat at an open table to work. That's cool. Our room was 281, deep inside the building from the lobby and needed to take a flight of stairs up. But do note that there is no lift in the hotel! We have been foretold by our tour leader and packed a simple handcarry bags while leaving our trolley luggages in our coach and so there's no problem for us. But we saw other guests, having some difficult time in moving their luggages up the stairs! Our room was nice and cosy and cleaned. Beds were comfortable and we had a good rest. What we liked was the separation between the toilet and the bathroom. The TV had limited channels too, unlike the others with International channels like NHK, Phoenix or CCTV etc, mostly French and a couple of standard BBC/CNN channels, that's all. The restaurant was spacious and nice, and the breakfast spread was generally good. Foods were nice too. Staff were friendly and efficient in clearing used tables but food refill was a little slow. Overall, we felt it should receive a 3.5 star rating taking into consideration all the factors. But since we cannot give a 0.5 rating and feel that it has not reached the 4-star rating, so we decided to award it a 3-star.

We stay every August on the way back from Provence so it was interesting to see the hotel in April when it was not so busy. Our room was on the first floor facing the carpark and it was clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked and was free. We had a drink in the bar before dinner. You book reservations for dinner on line using a QR code which was very easy. In summer the hotel runs a buffet dinner service due to the number of diners so we were pleased to find that table service had resumed for the rest of the year. The food was very tasty and although a bit rushed off their feet, the staff were great and really friendly. There were a couple of trainees (presumably for the start of the Easter holiday period) and a couple of coach parties arrived during dinner which made things a bit challenging. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice. We look forward to returning later this year.
