Room smelt of damp and smoke

The room smelt of smoke and was damp in places. It was also quite old. The bathroom did not have a window. The hotel reception and staff were friendly and the food and coffee served in the morning was nice. Its not in a great location without a car.

Reception pleasant. Booked table in restaurant - sent my food back 4 times as cold and poor quality, eventually the Restaurant Manager came to apologise and admitted that the Chef could have cared less. The bedroom was of good size but the toilet was filthy. This was not a cheap option either.

Friendly reception but poor quality hotel

The price was reasonable, breakfast was fine and good value and the receptionist was friendly and hard working but the rooms were poor: they had electric heaters with nothing to stop the clothes, which can be hung up directly above them, from falling on the heater which might be hazardous; the toilet was gently flushing all night, making quite a bit of noise; I took a shower in the preformed cubicle with a door that wouldn’t close only to be scalded twice with the water temperature suddenly changing, the shower curtain was not nice and; my children were in a room with a bunk and the ladder was broken.

misleading situation of hotel

i booked this hotel because it was cheap and the description by gala hotels stated that the property was 0.38 km from lyon city centre , we located the premier classe hotel city centre went to check in and i was informed that i was a\t a different premier classe hotel was infact precisely a 7 hour walk from the city centre, i had no time and no internet access to prove the point ,as it was a neccesity to stay in the centre as there was no time before euro 2016 foootball match the guy on reception wouldnt attempt to rectify the situation of phone the establishment and left me and my freinds high and dry with no room , luckily we managed to get one at a cost of 200 euros for which i will seek compensation, i was very angry at the misleading distance to city centre on the gala hotel website and it was only by luck that our trip was not completely ruined , i hope your hotel descri[ption doesn,t cause anyone else as much hassle as it caused me . you should be ashamed of yourself

The reception is welcoming you well, the facility is really simple and minimal. it's ok if you are passing by for business, and is located not to far from Lyon city and not too far from the airport. Price is really economic.
