Excellent hotel, comfortable stay, good location

Location: First of all, note the location of the hotel on google map is wrong so rely on the location map on the accor website. The hotel is an easy (well paved) 10 mins walk from the Xinghai square subway station. This hotel is very new so everything is clean and in good condition. I found the décor/colour theme of grey, coffee, marble and bronze very pleasing. The bed/sleep was comfortable, with sufficient lighting, and most amenities (kettle, slippers, bottled water etc) was provided. There’s one English news channel and about 6 movie cable channels. Wifi is strong generally but intermittent if I am using VPN. There’s free Laundromats on the 30th and 31st floor though the dryer is not very strong. I enjoyed nice walks to Dongmen Mall, Jinji Lake and Central Park.

No recognition as Platinum member during whole stay, not even received a welcome drink etc., park Garage very narrow and Special, Rooms ok, but just all in Chinese (aircon, TV etc.), will stay at Novotel SIP again next time.

Was a little surprise on the setting on the hotel floor....too dull or rather dark. Most unforgettable was the breakfast area, service and how they clean up after customers left. It just give the feeling that I am in a true Chinese own hotel. No offence...just my sincere feeling.

It was a comfortable and new hotel. Walking distance to several great shopping points and restaurants. The room is quite spacious with nice ambiance. However the TV/Movie system was not so user friendly. Its so difficult even to watch free TV. Or probably there is no free TV ?

The positive, location is good with mant mall around and easy to find food and coffee. The hotel is new so everything looks good. The room is good size and enough space for work and relaxing. Staff are friendly, breakfast also good. Now the negative: This hotel is kind of high tech with TV also using internet connection. It's well and good if their internet is fast. Unfortunately the internet is the let down, The gym also dissapointed with only 2 treadmeel machine and one bicycle machine. No weight, etc. I would give extra rating if the internet is good.
