A very modern hotel, situated in the main square of Charleroi. The entrance to the hotel is not immediately obvious as the hotel is attached to the shopping mall with reception on the second floor. Those arriving by car should note to enter via the shopping malls underground car park as the main square is vehicle free. The room I was allocated was very new, clean with a comfortable bed, a great bathroom and shower. I stayed one night and paid USD80 approx room only. Those staying should expect a 4star hotel. Nice location (walking distance from the train station and with a big shopping mall in the same building). Comfortable and spacious room. The gym had 4 nice machines, but no lifts or anything else. Good WiFi service and clean. A bit pricey, but much better than prices in Brussels.

Good hotel in City centre we stay with our dog, very clean and big room , modern design and friendly staff, Bit driving around to find car park and lifts but overall no faults. Water in mini fridge really good in summer time after long trip nice beers in bar

Great Option in the Heart of Charleroi

This hotel has an exceptional location in the heart of Charleroi. It adjoins a major downtown shopping mall with international brands and standard fast food options including Burger King. My room had amazing view of the central plaza including the church. There is an excellent range of restaurants nearby and a small selection of convenience stores. However, there was are no large supermarket in this area, and getting access to pharmacies was difficult at night. The reception area has lively bar on level 2 and there is outdoor areas with seating and umbrellas for the summer period. During this visit in August, there was some live music in the streets nearby which added to the town atmosphere, but this city is not Brussels, as visitors should lower expectations regarding night life options. It about a 10 min walks to the Central Station and express buses to the airport. (Charleroi low cost airport) Note: The railway stations area is under construction, some care may be required with luggage.

A bit deceptive, room not as described

We paid for a superior double room but did not get as shown in the photos for that exact room - only one chair and no recliner, no work desk, just a small table. When we arrived it was not immediately obvious where the car park was - hubby went up to find out where - wasn’t tokd everything. Was told B6 parking spot - when we drove in there was only 2 left and both were disabled parks. We drove into one till we found out more info. The guy at reception was not friendly with his response - said we could park anywhere - he could’ve said that at the start! Unfortunately this parking is for Novotel and anyone else, so it took ages to drive around looking for an empty space! We had a coffee maker but paper cups to put it in - really???? So we used the bigger and better bathroom cups. Come on Novotel - how hard is it to supply a good coffee cup? Bed comfort was so so, shower was good, bathroom very nice, shopping centre in same building a bonus. Doubt that we’d book this hotel again, let alone come to this boring town.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We have many superior room models, with or without desk, with or without sofa bed, with closed or open shower, etc. Our team always does its best to give the rooms to the tastes of our guests. This is why you should not hesitate to let us know your preferences before your stay or during check-in so that we can best satisfy you. Concerning the parking, it is a parking lot that we share with the shopping center so it may indeed be crowded during the day. We also know that the entrance is not the easiest to find due to the road works in Charleroi. We nevertheless try our best to locate the entrance for you using a map and the route to follow as well as certain practical details to better direct our customers. Place B6 is in fact the closest to the elevator but you can park elsewhere without problem. Regarding the cups, we understand that it is impractical but we are working to permanently eliminate plastic for the sake of ecology and prioritize paper/cardboard over plastic. It's nice that you were still satisfied with the rest and we thank you for sharing your satisfaction with us. We try to improve the quality of our service day after day in order to satisfy you.
