Basic hotel but well located

We arrived a couple of hours before check in time but the room was ready for early check in. Reception staff very helpful with directions , taxis and even helped carry our bags up/down the few steps to reception area. We booked a twin room which was very small. No bar fridge nor tea/coffee making facilities in room. However , you can request coffee pods and use machine near reception for free during daylight hours. 1 small bottle of water (complimentary) in-room. With two occupants only one chair in room so bed was the only option to sit on. While I understand the need to be eco friendly, two disposable cups in the bathroom is not exactly ok for 3 nights stay. Breakfast was basic but convenient. The best is the location. We walked to every Gaudi site except Park Guell. Heaps of good restaurants in the area for dinner.

I arrived in Barcelona early. When we reach hotel at about 10.45am, front office kindly let me check-in ! I am so impressed. We informed the hotel we are celebrating wedding anniversary & they did an arrangement on the bed for us. They exceeded my expectations. Breakfast staff is amazing. Special shout out to Veronica. She was very warm & friendly. Spoke to both my wife & me. Food wise is the same food daily Location wise, convenient & easy to reach all tourist spots & attractions For the price vs quality, i recommend this hotel. It is the staff that makes the difference.

This is a small, almost boutique sized hotel, located in the centre of all that Barcelona has to offer. The reception staff are very helpful. The room is fairly standard and in usual European style, it does not have a refrigerator nor kettle. It does have a safe. The bed is comfortable and the room has a midsized, wall mounted television. Heating and cooling was effective and the bathroom (and shower) is a nice size. Our room did have a large steel pillar in the centre, which could be an issue at night if you forget where it is! The hotel is serviced by two lifts, which are small and not ideally speedy. Public transport is nearby and the Rambla only about a 10 minute walk. A local supermarket is about 300 metres away and dining options are plentiful.

Wow, Ibis Style Barcelona Center exceeded my expectations! This is my second time staying with this brand, and they've nailed it again. The rooms may be small, but they're super cozy and smartly designed and breakfast? A total win for the price. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and patience, enhancing the overall guest experience. Furthermore, the hotel's convenient location within walking distance to key attractions further enhances its appeal.
