Unhelpful and an Inconvenience (However cannot fault the spa)

Unfortunately this was not the experience we wanted it to be. I booked the spa experience through spa seekers whom I have also been in contact with and had no luck. When we arrived at the hotel having a night stay and spa booked we were told that because we had booked through spa seekers that they had forgotten to put our booking onto the system. When asking if they had another room we were annoyedly told no as they had a chess tournament on that weekend. Being young travellers who had come via train the only option we were given was to travel to the sister hotel in West Bromwich… After much discussion and confusion the lady behind reception told us that she could get us booked into the local Holiday Inn which she said was a ‘short walk’, this normally would be fine however we had large suitcases along a road with no path. We were able to make use of the spa which I cannot fault as the Spa facilities and spa team were lovely. After the stay I was told that we couldn’t be given any compensation even though we were not able to stay where we had booked. I was not happy overall and found most of the staff to be borderline rude and only offering us the Holiday Inn when I was more persistent. Be wary when booking and in future I would recommend ringing ahead to confirm the room booking although that shouldn’t be necessary!

Super vriendelijk personeel en heel behulpzaam. Heel flexibel voor incheck tijd. Als je vragen hebt staan ze altijd paraat om te helpen waar nodig. Ontbijt is standaard maar heel verzorgd. Kamer heeft de benodigde infrastructuur. Maar kan wel een opfris beurt gebruiken.

Das Hotel ist bequem und gut ausgestattet. Das Restaurant bietet leckeres Essen an und dieses wird rechtzeitig serviert. Shan und Chris, super Bedienung, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam von Anfang bis zum Ende. Gute Wahl bei Geschäftsreisen. Ich kann nur weiter empfehlen. Thanks :)

De hotelkamers zijn wel aardig ingericht en het bed is goed echter hebben geen ventilatie en enkel glas waardoor de ramen helemaal beslaan. De spiegel in de badkamer heeft mooie geïntegreerde verlichting echter deze heeft slechts een decoratieve functie waardoor je geen goed licht hebt op je gezicht en de scheerspiegel was afgebroken. Het buffet eten is voldoende en vers en de bediening (Yuen & Shan) is vriendelijk en doet zijn best.

Ho avuto alcuni problemi relativi alla mia poermanenza di due settimane in questo hotel: Pulizia stanza, servizio di lunch-box per il pranzo e un disservizio a cena nbel ristorante annesso. Avvisato piu' di una volta la receptionist nulla e' cxambiato, non per colpa della reception
