Great place to stay when making a pilgrimage to Crystal Bridges. The hotel is hip and stylish, with green penguins greeting you here and there. The Hive restaurant is very good, and the woodland path to the museum is very close, as is the town square. Our room was large and quiet, with nice robes and a cool ultraviolet bathroom lighting system. Folks on the desk were helpful with restaurant and travel info.

The staff is polite and helpful. We spent an hour or two after checking in viewing the spectacular art collection and sipped bourbon at the hotel bar before turning in. Our room was impeccably appointed and spotlessly maintained. The location on the square is ideal for accessing shops, restaurants, biking and hiking trails, and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Our stay was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. It was a splurge for us, but we are very glad we chose 21C.

Nice hotel - no hot water

Beautiful hotel. Well located with nice rooms and interesting art work. However NO hot water three mornings in a row. Staff didn’t seem like they particularly cared one way or the other. The Hive restaurant has good food and the bar is OK even though it’s slightly too small.

This hotel is beautiful! There is great attention to aesthetics. The hotel bar was completely stocked to make any drink you could imagine. The moveable art – green penguins -were fun to take pictures with. They need better options for movies in the room - when you just need a break for "going."

Very odd “hotel”, not great for business

Not all bad, but not worth the price. Traveled here on business. Hotel is very strange - more of an odd art gallery than a hotel. Restaurants have very odd hours so don’t count on them being open when you’re ready to eat. Rooms do not have desks. WiFi worked well during the stay. Beds are okay but not great. Thin sheets. Lighting in the room wasn’t great. Blinds on windows are awful. In order to open or close the windows it’s quite a chore. Rooms are very industrial so having no light from outside and minimal interior lighting made it feel like a jail cell at times. Not many other hotels to choose from in town but I’ll probably find somewhere else next time.
