Drove in on a very busy Grand Prix Friday afternoon, expecting chaos. Could not have been more wrong. Super efficient, friendly and helpful Saleem sorted out the car and a bag trolley in 30 seconds flat. Realised we had left a couple of items in the car after it had been parked and it was sorted so quickly - Saleem was so friendly and accommodating. Fabulous first impression! Checkin was easy and quick too. Room was lovely but teeny. 2 double beds with 1 bathroom with insufficient storage for 4 people. No where to hang more than 1 towel. I know it was a busy weekend but we paid a LOT for this room. Bedding was very fresh and crisp, towels were soft. The area surrounding the hotel was very cool, beautiful laneways and fabulous coffee spots. Short walk to the shopping mall.

Fantastic experience from check in to check out. Very clean and tidy room on the 34th floor on the south side of the building with great views across the Melbourne skyline. Can’t fault the stay at all. If anything, the bathroom being open is a little weird at first, but apart from that, was a great stay and we would stay again.

Great location but poor experience

5 of us booked 3 rooms for 3 nights’ stay in Melbourne - great location but very disappointing stay. The only cosistency all of us had was poor service with majority of staff not knowing what’s going on and how simple things worked. Just to name one of the painful experience - On check in, we advised the staff that we intended to make partial payment with Accor points and were told to do it on check out. On check out, we were told that this should have been done at check in and they almost didnt allow us to make partial payment through Accor points. It then took 30 minutes for 3 persons to try to figure out how to convert the points to partial payment.

Comfortable and quiet

We stayed in a junior suite on the top floor. Room is well laid out and roomy, with a large bathroom and second powder room. Overall comfortable and, importantly, quiet. Bar seems to have been closed for sometime. Only had breakfast one morning. It was fine. Staff very good, particularly in the restaurant. Welcome amenity somewhat disappointing.

Wrong hotel at the perfect location

Rooms feel very crammed. Ergonomics are poorly designed. Bathrooms are too compact and can be cumbersome to use. Avoid the breakfast option, it is terrible to say the least. Spent 3 nights and they had the same items every single day. Only location is good about this property.
