We have stayed here a few times on way back to Wales and every time we found great service. Hotel always smells nice and is clean. It is a cheap hotel which punches above its weight for value. 1 criticism is that the food os terrible. Guy told us that all food is microwaved. Not a big deal as there a food court 3 mins away amd plenty of restaurants around. Great location to explore surrounding area.

Stay elsewhere if you can.

No smiles, 99 euros for a tiny bed and ZERO amenities. There was no coffee maker, no ice, no glass to put ice in IF there were ice, no fridge, no microwave, tiny room. This was more like a high end hostal and should have cost half of what we paid. No “thanks for staying with us”. Very disappointing.

Usual Ibis fare & no complaints on that score. However the air-con in the room was useless (only blew out room temp or warm air!) so we had to sleep with the window open as much as it would allow. It was cooler in the corridor & outside the hotel than in the room... We would have complained but after a 7+ hour drive we were exhausted. So - check it works when it's 30C+ outside.

Arrived about 19.00, plenty of parking spaces at that time but was full when I left the following morning. The hotel is typical ibis, very easy to find off the A8. There is an imax cinema literally 100m away with plenty of food outlets and bars which was an unexpected surprise. After a good breakfast I set off for the ferry port, was there within 15 minutes.
