Convenient to tram line to go around the city

This hotel is conveniently located to the tram line which is very easy to use. Very close to China Town for great meals. Modern hotel with comfortable rooms. Good complimentary breakfast. The lighting in the room was very dim which made it difficult to find things in your suitcase. There was a dial on the wall where you could turn the lights around the window and bed to red or green or purple or many other colors. This did not help. The bathtub shower was a bit risky. Worn out anti slip on the tub, Nothing to grab on to should one slip except a glass door that swung out. With all the different colors shining out the windows, it did make it easy to find when coming back after dark. Recommend? Maybe. I was with a tour group so I did not do any research on other accommodations.

Standard queen room 4 nights

We had 2 standard queen rooms on 10th and 11th floor. Clean rooms. Beds good but billows totally flat. Good bathrooms. The corridor noice and sounds from other rooms can be heard. Basic continental breakfast. Very basic gym. Pool is good for kids and families to chill but not for laps. Friendly staff. We didn’t need to wait much for check in nor to be seated for breakfast.

Didn’t keep promise

10th Floor Room Comfortable bed. Promised vegan milk available in room and nil provided. Disappointed. Bathroom door is frosted glass door which blinds you at night with the light of being used. Pool was ok. Location close to Central station.

Scored a great deal with an Accor Plus rate. Very good value for one bedroom suite on 13th floor with breakfast. Suite is roomy with a great double shower but oddly designed with the kitchen bench in the bedroom and the bathroom accessed from the lounge, however that’s just cosmetic. Staff were very nice, polite and obliging. Had a few drinks and meal in Eve’s, which was really good. Convenient to Central Station and location is close to Chinatown and light rail. Looking forward to going back in October (same package deal).

My wife & I stayed for just a couple of nights but were very pleased with the size of the room, and the all-round cleanliness. The public areas were well maintained and staff were, of course, very polite and efficient. The lifts worked well which, as we were on the 12th floor, was a distinct advantage. OK, it's not a cheap hotel, but it's quite central and our rate included breakfast which is buffet style. This included both continental and cooked options (or both!). A 'pub style' informal dinner in 'Eves' bar was more that we could eat and again, very reasonably priced. The chicken schnitzel was enough for 2! We would have no hesitation to return to this hotel.
