You will find better elsewhere. The rooms are very old & out dated. Room 137 was a disgrace. The bed sunk in the middle making for a very uncomfortable experience. The vanity had a very large crack along the basin. I was meeting up with my daughter & 2 grandsons. We ordered dinner & explained twice that the first part of our order was to be an entree. No it all came out together! That is not acceptable even in the cheapest restaurants. The highlight was the breakfast. WOW it was amazing.

My husband and I booked a staycation here for a night for our 19th wedding anniversary. We live on the Sunshine Coast and just wanted a nice night away. The reception is amazing but that’s where it ends. The rooms are very dated and the bed was very hard. No robes, no slippers. We normally stay at Altitude at Montville where you get all this plus a spa on the balcony for much cheaper. The buffet breakfast was good although the hot food was cold. The best part of our night was the local Thai restaurant Baan Mai, amazing! Would be revisit, no.

We have loved our stay at the Novotel Sunshine Coast, a big resort with so much to do! The inclusivities are great, a lot of activities and amenities to spend your time enjoying. The resort is definitely scenic and stunning! Our high tea experience was incredible, great food and amazing service from Kimberly.

I wasn't going to write a review but since we have tried to ring and absolutely no answer to discuss this I've decided to write one. The reception experience fell short of expectations, lacking courtesy and attention to detail. Despite notifying them of our late arrival, we were informed that our room wouldn't be ready until 2 pm, even though we had prepaid for that night. Additionally, there was no apology for the inconvenience caused, nor acknowledgment of the mistake in assigning us a room intended for another guest with the same last name. It wasn't until we scrutinized the details that we realized the error in our reservation. Additionally, weekends at the establishment seemed overrun with children, lacking supervision as evident by their behavior around the pool area. The limited dinner menu and remote location from nearby amenities added to the inconvenience, requiring transportation for dining options. The food is limited but all meals were lovely. Cocktails by all staff are consistent and very well made. The lake walk was our highlight and the pool was clean. Furthermore, the restricted room servicing hours between 1 pm and 4 o'clock posed challenges, especially for guests who had utilized towels and desired a shower after swimming or other activities. While the resort may cater well to families seeking a kid-friendly environment, it falls short for those seeking a tranquil, adult-oriented getaway. Considering these aspects, returning to this establishment is unlikely, unless catering to families or group gatherings.

Unfortunately we struck a week when the weather was crap. We had to plan our days around wind and some rain but managed to do what we wanted to do. The hotel is excellent. Checkin was smooth and we were given a map to find our room. It faced the lagoon on the ground floor and each morning a bush turkey came to the window to check if I was awake. On our last morning her brought two kangaroos with him. The room had everything we needed, spacious hot shower, large vanity unit and a really comfortable bed, I had the best spell each of the 4 nights. No noise from adjoining units. Good tv and win fi reception. Floor to ceiling window with a door to the lagoon. We had breakfasts each day and apart from the awful coffee it was really good. We took meals from the restaurant but ate them in the lounge area. Again the meals we really enjoyed as well as the caring staff. One minor criticism. My wife likes soft drinks but we could only buy them in cans which are generally more than she can drink. Could I suggest serving some drinks in BOTTLES at the bar.
