This resort is fair. I wouldn’t stay there again. The rooms were spacious, but they were also infested with small bugs - mosquitos and small gnats. Small spiders. I had them spray for bugs one night, but more came back. The room had a nice large bathtub with jets, but it had lots of little bugs sitting in it. I suppose I could have flushed them down, but somehow it just wasn’t appealing. There were small frogs trying to get in through the bathroom window, but thankfully they could not. When I left, I had more than a dozen mosquitoes bites. The service at the front desk was good. One woman was especially attentive and helpful but I can’t recall her name. The massage I received in the spa was nice, very relaxing. The bar area was fair - food was mostly fried stuff. Cocktails were ok. We didn’t eat at the restaurant there. It’s a short walk to the Main Street of Palm Cove where all of the restaurants are. Honestly, if I had it to do over again, I don’t think I’d stay in Palm Cove. The beaches are really nothing special and aside from a few sectioned off areas, you can’t swim in the ocean because of crocs.

We had the best time, your resort is beautifully looked after and maintained. All of your staff were so exceptional. Our little boy was hurt by another guest and your staff were incredibly caring and thoughtful. I loved the 2 bedroom apartment. Beautiful hotel, but issues with staff ruined the experience

The hotel itself was amazing, well taken care of and immaculate. We did however have an incident with staff that would result in us not returning. There was an accident that happened between my son and another child in the ‘games room’ this resulted in first aid being needed to the other child. My child was apologetic to the other child and explained it was an accident (something slipped out of his hands). The first responder on-site belittled my child to the point he was scared of the staff remember and then wouldn’t come out of the room in fear of running into the ‘man’. I later spoke to reception to ask for his name to put in a complaint and the man on reception was very standoffish and advised he wouldn’t give me his details and he would take care of it. He called me back at 9:28 to advise this man was the first responder doing his job and he agreed he probably didn’t go about the the correct way. The way that both these staff members dealt with this issue I found was very poor from a customer service perspective. Although the hotel was beautiful, I want my child to feel comfortable on holidays including around the staff in the hotel which in my opinion is not the case at the Pullman.
