Excellent service, dated hotel and gym is small

The staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure my Stay was amazing. The barkeepers were excellent, and the drinks were very good. Is the gym? Very small and not enough weights for people to work out whether in the morning or the afternoon it’s always busy. The room is very dated and I had a broken refrigerator. They were amazing and brought another one up, but that one was broken as well. It’s a lovely hotel but for the amount I paid I could stay at a newer Marriott

Overpriced hotel for so so room quality and features

Over $500/night for a hotel that does not have the functionality I would expect in this price range. - No complementary bottle of water - No coffee machine in the room - no mini bar - over price room service ($85 for a salad and a bottle of water) - a Desk without power outlet to connect a computer and phone charger The French charm is not enough to justify the price of an under equipped hotel. I will recommend my company no longer uses this hotel for meetings in NYC.

Good location, excellent staff, Meti and Nick in Bar Gaby (we've been guests for years).

Yes, we've been visiting the Sofitel for a number of years interrupted by COVID, but, Meti and Nick are still excellent working in Bar Gaby. The hotel has been maintained well but the shower lacks the water pressure that would make the room amenities stand out. It's nice and quiet in the rooms/between rooms. However, the rooms lack a good electrical outlet on the window side; there are adequate plugs on the other side of the bed. Some type of extension under the bed to the window side would be nice.
