The team were all fantastic.. every one we encountered. Was thrilled to get a high floor and welcome gift. Please update your TV'S in the rooms. They are quite blurry and definitely not high definition. We are looking forward to our next visit in August.

This was our third time here and we love the location etc. We had a lot of housekeeping issues eg, no towels left, no coffee topped twice and a few other things hence the rating of 7. We have passed this onto the lovely lady at reception and she said she would pass on. Rooms don’t get serviced until really late in the day often after 4 pm, so twice we left and went downstairs to the restaurant and another time just wanted towels changed. After a day out walking heaps coming back to a room not serviced was sad! If they sort housekeeping out that would be great!

Staff were friendly. On my 2nd night I requested an upgrade being a Gold member as the lady on checkin mentioned nothing, reception kindly sorted it out. Dinner in the restaurant was good. Not sure why spare blankets arent kept in the rooms, 1st night was freezing and couldnt get the heat to work. Had to call reception for blankets. The hotel could use a serious revamp, it feels old and unloved, not what I'd expect from a 5 star Sofitel. Wasn't a bad experience, the staff seemed to make up for what was lacking but not my 1st choice of stay in Gold Coast.
