The local will tell you that you should not miss the Sidi M’Cid bridge, 175 meters high, and its amazing view over the canyon and the Hamma valley. Then, for a breathtaking view of the city, head towards the Monument aux Morts, on top of a cliff, on the right bank. Vertiginous! Go from bridge to bridge, from El Kantara bridge, to Sidi Rached Bridge, from Devil’s bridge to the bridge of the Falls. Take the Mellah Slimane Bridge, the one connected to the elevator, joins the train station with the center of the old town. You can feel it wobble as you cross. The Medersa elevator carries you up to the old town. History and architecture lovers, the Mosque of Emir Abdelkader, close to the University and Ahmed Bey Palace, should please you. Then, head to the National Museum of Cirta houses old Roman and Numidian remains that will allow you to travel time.
