1. Visit Brighton Palace Pier
A trip to Brighton would not be complete without a scenic stroll along its famous Victorian, Grade II-listed pier. Located right in the heart of Brighton, the pier is one of its most iconic landmarks and a must-see attraction for anyone exploring the city.
As well as offering stunning views of Brighton’s coastline and seafront, the pier features classic funfair attractions and fairground rides, two arcades, and plenty of delicious food and drink, from traditional seaside fish and chips to sweet treats from its kiosks.
2. Sealife Brighton
Situated just opposite the pier, Brighton’s Sealife Centre is another attraction well worth a visit during your stay. Built in the late 19th Century, the building itself is yet another example of Brighton’s Victorian architecture and holds a huge variety of fascinating sealife creatures within its aquarium zones.
From octopus and turtles to jellyfish and sharks, you can learn about and get up close to some of the most amazing inhabitants of the underwater world.

3. The Royal Pavilion
Another of central Brighton’s most unique and truly spectacular landmarks is the Royal Pavilion. Built as a seaside residence for King George IV over 200 years ago, the Grade I-listed building is a stunning example of both Regency-era and Indo-Saracenic
architecture greatly influenced by both Indian and Chinese aesthetics.
With its ornate domes, columns and minarets, the striking building is a sight to behold and remains one of Brighton’s most historic buildings. On a sunny day, we recommend sitting outside in its beautiful gardens or, for an admissions fee, you can view inside and learn about its amazing past.
4. The Lanes
Want to do a spot of shopping on your stay? The Lanes are the perfect place. A quaint maze of narrow alleyways filled with everything from independent boutiques and jewellers to record stores and antique shops, there’s something for everyone in the Lanes.
When you’ve finished exploring or have had your fill of shopping, you can stop by at one of the Lanes charming cafes for lunch or some traditional tea and cake.
5. Brighton Centre
If you’re looking for some evening entertainment on your trip, the Brighton Centre is the place to go.
As one of the largest multi-purpose venues in the South East, Brighton Centre hosts a huge variety of live concerts, theatre, stand-up comedy and shows from some of the biggest names in music and entertainment throughout the year. And, situated right on the city’s seafront, it's in a prime location for exploring all of Brighton’s nightlife afterwards!
