Free live broadcast for anyone with a passing interest in ballet.

After five successful years of free opera broadcasts as part of Oper für Alle, or Opera for All, the Zurich Opera House is now going to offer free screenings of ballet performances. The Ballet für Alle initiative will broadcast ballet live from the Opernhaus on the Sechseläutenplatz. For this 1st edition, join more than 10,000 people to watch Romeo and Juliet by the choreographer and ballet director, Christian Spuck.

Armed with blankets, camping chairs and picnic baskets, the spectators will arrive in the square very early in the afternoon to get the best seats. Passersby can stop for a few minutes or even hours on end, because this broadcast is as impressive as the sight of so many silent spectators, fascinated by the production that they are watching.
