Warsaw is of course synonymous with the famous Polish pianist and composer Frederic Chopin, who lived there from 1810 to 1830. The Frederic Chopin Museum is right in the centre of Warsaw in the Ostrogscy Palace. It was established in 1930 and its collections have been enriched with the aid of the Frederic Chopin Institute. The collection contains authentic documents that belonged to Chopin, portraits, sculptures, original scores, photographs, recitals and so on. You will be spellbound by this fascinating genius.
