The exhibition tells the story of Trude Forsher, who was the private secretary ofElvis Presley, from June 1956 to November 1960.
Born in Vienna, she fled the Nazi terror to reach New York and continued her journey to the fascinating city of Hollywood. When she contacted her relatives there she got a job which made her the envy of all: working for Elvis Presley and his manager.
Later, Trude Forsher founded her own production company and supported social projects for women. Her son, James, has given the Jewish Museum Vienna objects dating from the early days of American show business.
