Nestled in a cove of Manly, the northern Sydney’s suburb, Shelly Beach (also Shelley Beach) is particularly known for its large shallow area. This has made the perfect spot for scuba diving and snorkeling. The beach is a protected marine reserve, and snorkelers and divers will see lots of marine life here.
The beach is a protected marine reserve and a calm spot for swimming. Surfers come for the legendary waves of "the Bower", a particularly shallow surf break located at the far west of the beach.
