Once upon a time, in Singapore.

This exhibition presents the key events in the history of Singapore. That is, it's creation.
On display at the National Gallery are extremely valuable archive documents that have marked the different stages in the constitutional development of Singapore.
Let us not forget that Singapore declared itself a republic in 1965. Before that, it had the status of a British colony since 1819.
Take a leap back in time and discover the documents and stories that have shaped this republic.
