All year long
Located in central Seoul, Mount Namsan is a symbolic peak. At the top, visitors can discover the Palgakjeong, or Seoul Tower (around 480 meters high), the aquarium, fountains and the Namsan Library. To get there, you can either take a cable car, or if your legs are feeling strong, you can climb the steps to the top.
On Mount Namsan you will also find the green spaces of Namsan Park, a historic public garden. Namsan Park offers stunning panoramic views across Seoul. The mountain is also the site of the Bonghwadae which was once the defense centre for the Korean capital.
