Museum-Villa of Ancient Rome.

The Cardinal Scipione Borghese decided to build a villa to house his remarkable art collection. His architect Flaminio Ponio was inspired by classical Roman villas. It took a year to build the palace (1612) and the sculptures that decorate the building were not finished until 1620. The garden and XXX is by Girolamo Rainaldi. In the Borghese museum, you can discover sculptures by Bernin, paintings by Caravagio, Rubens, Boticelli, etc.
