Light and Shadow.

Dates to be confirmed.

Like many countries that have been celebrating their greatest authors for years (Goethe in Germany, Shakespeare in England), France has decided to celebrate one of the best known French writers in the world: Victor Hugo.

Founded in 2007, the Festival of Victor Hugo and Equals owes its name to this phrase from Victor Hugo himself: "Supreme art is the region of equals". More than just a tribute, its aim is to reveal the different facets of a man who was a writer, thinker, critic and painter.
Films, theatre, music, lectures, debates and literary walks are all on the schedule.
