The window can be a joyful symbol, especially in a time when walls dominate. Windows represent an opening, a passage, the promise of an elsewhere, and they serve as a powerful source of inspiration for Ellsworth Kelly.
Discover this major artist of the abstract movement at the Pompidou Centre. This exhibition presents six Windows created between 1949 and 1950.
This presentation will be complemented by sketches, paintings and photographs by Kelly, in order to offer a faithful and precise overview of his work.
